Privacy Policy
Effective Date: October 2026 • Domain: chartbuy.com
1. Information We Collect
ChartBuy requires no account registration to browse price charts. We only collect an email address if you voluntarily submit one to receive a Target Price-Drop Alert. Your "Recently Viewed Charts" list is stored strictly locally in your browser localStorage and is never uploaded to our servers.
2. Chrome Browser Extension Privacy (Manifest V3)
The ChartBuy Browser Extension activates exclusively on public AliExpress pages to read public item identifiers (productId, skuId), option labels, and public campaign promo codes so we can display 90-day historical price charts and active discounts. Display language and panel open/minimized preferences are saved strictly locally in your browser (chrome.storage.local). It never reads or transmits personal identities, passwords, payment details, checkout carts, or browsing history on other websites.
3. Cookies & Language Preference
ChartBuy uses a lightweight first-party preference cookie (chartbuy_locale) only when you manually select your preferred language edition. When you click an outbound deal link (rel="nofollow sponsored noopener"), AliExpress may set a standard affiliate attribution cookie on its own domain.
4. Data Deletion & Contact
You may request immediate deletion of any subscribed price-alert email address at any time by contacting: [email protected]
